RadioBro: Script, 2D-Animation

RadioBro from Huntsville, AL tasked us to come up with a visualization of their new product called “MicroBat”. This is a small device that can detect gun shots, analyze them, and automatically report the shooter’s location to the police.

The animation was shown during a live on-stage presentation. The animation does not have an audio track to allow the presenter to guide the audience vocally.

Huawei: style frames

I was brought on by The Mill Chicago to help create style frames for a 15 second VFX shot in a HUAWEI commercial. The goal was to visualize data connectivity around the globe.

The final commercial can be viewed above. Below are the different stages of the concept development, which I was part of. The animation was handled by other artists (see credits below).

Hot Date (TV Series): Screen Simulations

The Pop Originals series “Hot Date” by Emily Axford and Brian Murphy of CollegeHumor incorporated many scenes with smartphones and other screen devices. In order to allow the most flexibility in production for the creators, the screens of these devices were simulated in post-production to allow for last-minute changes.

These screen simulations were created over the course of four months for all ten episodes and I was pleased to handle all stages of this process. It was crucial to develop a clear vision of the anticipated content before the graphics were being mapped onto the devices to enable streamlined feedback loops.

Process examples:

I really enjoyed working on the show and recommend it to all my friends since working on it.

Airbus: Experience Center

As an aviation enthusiast it was my honor to work on a project for global aerospace leader Airbus. Their new Experience Center should showcase the company’s flagship products across commercial, military, and space & defense. Leviathan’s task was to build a unique interactive experience using projection mapping and intuitive touch interface solutions.

My goal in the project included unifying all 3D models for future use in interactive applications like Touch Designer. When necessary, textures had to be altered to match the overall visual direction as well as additional modeling for updated aircrafts.
